History

Insector Leon, (also known as Green Alien[1] and Techno Leon in Germany[2] and Australia[3]) is part of the Insectoids ground team, piloting the Planetary Prowler with a Gigabot assistant. When a Voltstone has been spotted by Lieutenant Maverick or Gypsy Moth they are deployed to collect them.[4]

The Insector has green hair, and is implanted with various cybernetic facial augmentations, including a round eyepiece and commlink headset. The rest of the equipment includes a green insect-like bubble helmet and black airtanks. The spacesuit consists of a dark grey torso covered in other cybernetics and the Insectoids emblem in the center -- completed with green sleeves, black gloves, and black legs.

Insector Leon, Danny Longlegs, and Locust were the first figures to feature a head element produced in the Dark Grey color.

This figure was included in set 6903 | Bug Blaster and bought by The Collector with their allowance in 1998.
