History
The Gigabots were created by the Zotaxians to help crew, maintain, and even pilot the Insectoid ships. They are described as "walking talking robocomputers" filled with a "million gigabytes of information". In the late 90s when this character was created a "gigabyte" was considered an astronomical amount of digital information.
The Gigabots favorite ship to fly is the Planetary Prowler, because the super shocks provide an extra smooth ride.[1]
A standard Gigabot wears a transparent helmet without a visor. Their body is covered in robotic circuits and wires with an Insectoids decal printed on the middle of the torso.
This figure was included in set 6977 | Arachnoid Star Base and given to the The Collector as a gift from relatives in 1998.
