History
Lieutenant Maverick, (also known as Officer Maverick) pilots the Beta Buzzer and the Bi-Wing Blaster along with Gigabot, and serves as scout for the Insectoids Swarm.[1]
The lieutenant has more cybernetics than the other Zotaxians in the torso and face, including a silver eye shield and a strange vent covering the mouth. They share the same blue skin and bright neon insect-like bubble helmet as Captain Wizer and Gypsy Moth, but instead of shoulder armor is a pair of blue airtanks on the back of a black and dark grey jumpsuit. The chest of the suit is covered in cybernetic implants, electrodes and armor plates with the Insectoids decal worn on the center-left of the chest.
This figure was included in set 6817 | Beta Buzzer and bought by The Collector with their allowance in 1998.
