The Adventurers theme debuted in 1998, and followed Johnny Thunder and his friends as they traveled around the world trying to stop various villains from stealing precious ancient treasures. These treasures were often guarded by traps, monsters, and deadly curses. This theme would feature many iconic new elements including the Pith Helmet, Faceted Jewel, Nemes, and the dazzling Sun Disk.
