(Portrait by M)

Miss Gail Storm was released in 1998 and is featured in the Adventurers Theme, first appearing in the Desert Sub-Theme. This minifigure is in used condition and is located in 1998 | Box 01 as figure adv-des-1998-03. This figure can be found on BrickLink and is listed as adv015.

History

Journalist and photographer Miss Gail Storm works for the international publication "World Magazine" and often joins Johnny Thunder and crew to document their adventures. Along the way she helps Johnny's uncle Dr. Charles Lightning document and study "creepy curses, cryptic hieroglyphics, and mysterious mummies" according to early press material.

She is not afraid of snake and scorpions.

As LEGO expanded the Adventurers Theme they changed her name to "Pippin Reed". It is The Collector's opinion that the original character is in fact named Gail Storm, and when the "films" about their adventurers were made the actress playing Gail was named Pippin Reed. This of course is pure fan theory.

Gail's desert attire includes a white pith helmet, tan long sleeve double pocket shirt with open collar, a blue undershirt, red tied bandana, red pen in the right pocket, compass on a lanyard[1], and red pants.

This figure was included in set 5988 | The Temple of Anubis and given to The Collector as a Christmas present in 1998.
