Appearance
The Exxon Station Undercar Specialist wear a red hat, red shirt featuring the Exxon logo, and blue trousers.
History
Working at the gas station can sometimes involves doing many different jobs. This character in particular however is shown working with a wrench on a car on a lift while their co-worker fetches a tire. [2]
From this we can speculate that their specialty may be an Undercar Specialist, as their work often happens under the car dealing with, stability, hydraulics, alignment and other adjustments. [3]
It is also interesting to note that the publicity photo on the front of the instructions for | Exxon Gas Station shows an early example of the "kneeling" technique. This trick works by reversing the direction of the leg assembly (toes facing backwards) so that the legs bend completely backwards -- giving the impressing that the character is sitting on their knees.
In 1984 the character was seen again, this time driving an Exxon fuel tanker truck. [4]
