History

It was this year that LEGO town saw its first chef.

In our world there are many intricacies to the positions and titles of the professional food-making industry -- be they cooks, sous-chef, roundsman, butchers, assistance, stewards, or just that one friend who loves to host a good ol' backyard grill-fest.

In the LEGO universe however, there appear to be only "chefs". Whether they work at a famous Parisian Restaurant, the acclaimed Breezeway Café, are Swedish, or a local pizza pro their uniform shows they all hold this title.

This Chef in particular started out in a snack bar selling popcicles, drinks, and something that required ketchup and mustard. [3]

Eventually in 1983 they moved to managing the shop at the big city train station. [4]

They can also be seen commuting to work on the Inter-City Passenger Train. [5]

This figure was acquired through the BrickLink marketplace by The Collector.
