The Hydroshark[1] was first released in 1998 and is featured in the Aquazone Theme, first appearing in the Aquasharks Sub-Theme. This minifigure is in used condition and is located in 1998 | Box 01 as figure aqz-aqs-1998-01. This figure can be found on BrickLink and is listed as aqu008.
History
The Hydroshark is the subject of some dispute as to its classification. The character wears the insignia of the Aquasharks on their wetsuit, however the set is labeled as part of the Hydrozone Sub-Theme. Due to this discrepancy The Collector has settled on the hybrid name "Hydroshark" as a solution.
The Hydroshark is equipped with a dark grey helmet and blue Aquazone visor, black Aquasharks wetsuit, yellow air tanks, and blue suit legs. His left hand has been replaced with a glowing green hook.
This figure was included in set 1095 | Super Sub and bought by the The Collector with their allowance in 1998.
